Speakers are available to interested groups requesting information about mental health and mental illness.  Presentations available on a variety of topics include:

  • Stress management

  • Depression in the workplace

  • Myths of mental illness

  • Suicide awareness/intervention

  • Agency overview and community services

I     Information and Referral

This is a service to assist individuals in obtaining information on mental health or illnesses and finding support services appropriate to their needs.  Our library is open to the public between the hours of 9:00am to 4:30pm  Monday to Friday and offers a wide selection of books and videos on mental illnesses and mental health information can be arranged. Our library contains a broad selection of books, periodicals, videos and audio cassettes on a wide range of topics relative to mental health and well-being.  Should you be looking for something in particular and cannot find it please feel free to let us know. Community Development

Consultation and participation in community groups and planning activities aimed at developing or improving mental health services and supports with Peterborough County is provided.  Partnership in developing educational resources or hosting workshops related to mental health or mental wellness is available.
